September 10, 2022: Sylvania, OH 43560 The Steele Comets volleyball team (Amherst, OH), went down 3-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH)
The Wildcats (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Maumee (Maumee, OH). The Panthers enter the Northern Lakes challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Maumee defeated Southview (Sylvania, OH), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Comets encounter the Elyria Pioneers (Elyria, OH) in a Southwestern challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Steele will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH).

SYLVANIA - In a top 5 match up of No. 4 Amherst Steele vs. No. 5 Northview, the Wildcats of Northview were able to pull off the victory, 3 sets to 1 winning 20-25, 25-12, 25-23, 25-22 to move to 7-1 overall and 4-0 in the NLL.
Leading for Northview were the dynamic duo of outside hitters in Kamryn Hunt and Sydney Hires.
