Ohio High School Volleyball - Olentangy Liberty over Northview
August 27, 2022: Powell, OH 43065 Olentangy Liberty Patriots (Powell, OH) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Patriots battle the Dublin Jerome Celtics (Dublin, OH) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 30. Olentangy Liberty will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Celtics come into the match with a 4-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH).
With the loss, Northview drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH) to battle the Generals in a Northern Lakes match on Tuesday, August 30. The Generals come into the match with a record of 3-1. Anthony Wayne won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Mayfield (Mayfield, OH)

POWELL - A tough non-conference match-up between the 2021 OHSAA Division 1 State Runner-up, Olentangy Liberty, and Northview. Liberty was able to pull off the victory, 3 sets to 1 to move Northview to 2-1 on the season before they start NLL play next week.
Leading for Northview was Kamryn Hunt, senior outside hitter, with 25 kills, hitting .328, with 15 digs, passing a 2.37. Hunt recorded her 2nd double-double of the season. Also leading for Northview was setter, Natalie Kerchevall with 24 assists and 20 digs, her first double-double of the season. Senior outside hitter, Sydney Hires, contributed 9 kills and 14 digs. Defensively, Northview was led by junior libero Jordyn Pakulski with 25 digs.
