Wewahitchka fell to Liberty County 6-14 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Wewahitchka were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Liberty County 44-7. Wewahitchka were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Next week Wewahitchka take on Cottondale at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: these teams both put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Liberty County, they will face off against North Bay Haven Academy. North Bay Haven Academy are limping into the game on a six-game losing streak.
