Ohio High School Volleyball - Northview over Whitmer
September 30, 2019: Sylvania, OH 43560 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH) and the visiting Whitmer Panthers (Toledo, OH), saw Northview's volleyball squad beat Whitmer by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Northview upgrades its record to 13-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Springfield (Holland, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a Northern Lakes bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Blue Devils come into the match with a record of 8-9. Springfield won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Ayersville (Defiance, OH)
With the loss, Whitmer drops to 7-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Lima Senior (Lima, OH) to battle the Spartans in a Three Rivers match on Thursday, October 3. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 5-11. Lima Senior won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Continental (Continental, OH)

SYLVANIA - In the annual Dig Pink match to support the Side-out Foundation, Northview was able to raise awareness for breast cancer while winning over Whitmer, three sets to one. With the victory, Northview moves to 13-5, 8-2 NLL, currently sitting in third place.
Leading for Northview was senior outside hitter, Hannah Frame, with a team high 15 kills, a team high .375 hitting efficiency and a team high 13 digs. Also leading the offense was junior middle block, Haley Catti with 6 kills. Junior libero, Emma Dukate had 12 digs and junior setter, Clare Kwiatkowski, dished out 35 assists.
Northview returns to the court on Tuesday as they travel to Springfield High School. JV starts at 5:00 P.M., Varsity at 6:30 P.M.
