It has been 10 years now that MaxPreps has put out football computer rankings, presented by the Army National Guard.
That's plenty of time to come up with a solid list of which programs have been the most dominant during the MaxPreps era.
For the purpose of the rankings, each team will be awarded points based off where it finished in the computer rankings. For example, if a team finished No. 1 overall it receives 25 points. If the team finished No. 25 overall, it would get one point. A team also receives 30 points for winning a section title and 15 for being the runner-up.
Most dominant Sac-Joaquin Section football teams in the MaxPreps era
1. Del Oro (Loomis) - 358 pointsOverall record: 104-29
Del Oro has been ranked in the Top 25 all but one year. In 2004 and 2011 the Golden Eagles finished No. 1 overall. They have four section titles in the past 10 years and three runner-up finishes.
2. Central Catholic (Modesto)- 350Overall record: 117-18-1
Just like Del Oro, Central Catholic finished in the Top 25 all but one year. In 2011 the Raiders finished No. 2 overall. They have six section titles and one runner-up finish.

3. Folsom - 238Overall record: 95-28-1
Folsom has finished ranked No. 1 overall twice since 2004. The Bulldogs have three section titles and one runner-up finish.
4. Granite Bay - 227
Overall record: 98-29-1
Granite Bay has been ranked in the Top 25 all 10 years. The lowest was 11th overall in 2010. In 2012 the Grizzlies finished No. 1 overall. They have three section titles during the MaxPreps era.
5. Nevada Union (Grass Valley) - 215Overall record: 71-44
The Miners have struggled as of late, but they still have two section titles and one runner-up finish since 2004. In 2005, Nevada Union finished No. 1 overall in the section and third overall in the state.
5. Grant (Sacramento) - 215Overall record: 100-24
The Pacers have not finished out of the top 25 over the past 10 years. Grant has ended first overall twice while capturing two section titles and one runner-up finish.
7. St. Mary's (Stockton) - 196
Overall record: 96-30
The Rams are consistent, finishing in the top 25 nine times, the highest being No. 2 overall in 2008. St. Mary's has two section titles and a runner-up finish.
8. Vacaville - 193Overall record: 93-26-1
Vacaville has captured two section titles and finished in the Top 25 eight times.

9. Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove) - 183Overall record: 77-25
Pleasant Grove did not have a varsity program prior to 2006 yet they made it into the top 10. It's been seven-straight years with a top 25 finish for the Eagles, who have one section title and two runner-up finishes.
10. Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) - 177Overall record: 81-38
The Trojans are always in it. Over the past 10 years, Oak Ridge has finished in the top 25 nine times and won a section title in 2004. They also have two runner-up finishes.
11. Oakdale - 171Overall record: 98-29
Oakdale has been in five section title games since 2004, winning two. The Mustangs have six top 25 finishes.
12. Escalon - 164Overall record: 107-21
Escalon has two section titles and two runner-up finishes. Although from a small school, the Cougars have eight top 25 finishes.
13. Le Grand - 150Overall record: 81-37
The Bulldogs made the list because they are winners. They have four section titles and two runner-up finishes, not to mention a State Bowl Games appearance.
14. Manteca- 148
Overall record: 96-23
When Manteca finishes ranked in the top 25, it's likely the Buffaloes won a section title as well. They have won three section titles and finished as high as fifth in 2005.

14. Elk Grove - 148Overall record: 87-34
The Thundering Herd have two runner-up finishes. They also finished ranked in the top 10 five times.
16. Rocklin - 136Overall record: 65-46
The Thunder won a section title and finished No. 1 overall in 2009. They were also runners-up in 2005.
17. Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento) - 135Overall record: 67-26
Like Le Grand, the Pride are here because they win. Bradshaw Christian has captured four section titles and a runner-up finish.
18. Napa - 124Overall record: 86-31-1
Napa finished ranked No. 1 overall after winning a section title in 2007. The Indians have six top 25 finishes.
19. Hilmar - 120Overall record: 93-26
Hilmar has been crowned a section champion twice over the past 10 years. The Yellowjackets also have two runner-up finishes.
20. Del Campo (Fair Oaks) - 107Overall record: 87-31
Del Campo won section titles in 2006 and 2009.
