DJ Rodman will transfer from Corona del Mar to JSerra, according to Corona del Mar boys basketball coach Ryan Schachter.

Rodman, son of former NBA player Dennis Rodman, is a 6-foot-4 junior who can play multiple positions. He was All-Orange County third team last season.

Schachter, who said Rodman’s mother notified him of the impending transfer, provided this statement via email: “I am saddened to see a fine young man leave our program & community. As good as a basketball player as he was, he was an even better young man! I wish him & his family nothing but the best & may his future in basketball & life be prosperous.”
