No. 4 Grayson tops No. 10 Roswell in overtime for Georgia Class 7A state championship

Grayson (Loganville, Ga.) captured the Georgia Class 7A state championship with an epic 23-20 overtime victory over No. 10 Roswell (Ga.) on Saturday night.

Grayson's Will Van Pamelen drilled what ended up being the game-winning 25-yard field goal. Those three points ended up being the difference once the Hornets missed a field goal on their subsequent possession.

The No. 4 Rams claimed their first state title since 2011 and also avenged last year's heartbreaking semifinal loss to Roswell with the win.
