In Friday's non-league match, the host McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets football squad scored a good 35-21 victory over the Central Red Devils.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, November 30. McGill-Toolen will attempt to improve on its 13-0 season record. The Buccaneers come into the test with a 11-2 record after their 42-14 non-league win over Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL).

With the loss, Central drops to 10-2 on the campaign.
