The AA state champs have to replace the State Player of the Year, quarterback Nate Dick, who threw for 2,639 yards and 34 touchdowns last season. Dick also ran for 1,222 yards and 19 scores.
Wide receiver
Gabe Sulser is back after catching 81 passes for 1,321 yards and 17 scores as a junior. He also had three interceptions as a defensive back.
Lineman
Garrison Poetzl is back to anchor the line on both sides.

BCHS won its fourth A state championship and has played in the title game six consecutive years.
The Beavers will look to
Michael Haverfield to replace Troy Anderson at quarterback. Gone is running back RJ Fitzgerald, but
Graden Greenslade has championship experience.
Brent Tezak also returns at outside linebacker.

The Wolfpack were the AA runner up and lose senior quarterback Tadan Gilman to graduation. Rising senior
Brady Peiffer will be looked upon to replace Gilman's 2,357 yards passing and 21 touchdowns.
Incoming senior
Drew Turner returns after rushing for 1,617 yards and 19 TDs last season as a junior, while
Jackson Pepe is the top returning receiver with 24 catches and 323 yards and three scores. He also had three interceptions last season.

The Lions head into 2017 on the heels of their thrilling last-second championship win in 2017.
Garrett Graves is back at quarterback for his senior year after capping last season with a 40-yard Hail Mary for a 31-28 win.
Eureka must find a way to replace key cogs in that title team, including running back Cannan Smith and wideout Austyn Sherwood.

Loyola was on the other side of the Eureka Hail Mary, but returns a handful of seniors ready to avenge that loss.
Scott Twite is back at quarterback and will be joined by
Ryan Tirrell at running back.
Also ready to carry the rock are
Robert Griffin and
Jeffrey Twite. Griffin also will fill the defensive middle at linebacker with Scott Twite, while Jeffrey Twite will see time at defensive end.
Joseph McElroy, a 6-foot-4, 240 pound tackle, will anchor the line.
