The Louisville power finished last season as the No. 16 team in the final Xcellent 25 rankings after breezing through the 2016 season with a 15-0 record and a class 6A state championship. It was the school's 24th state title and 12th under head coach Bob Beatty.
Senior
Rondale Moore is back after seven catches for 130 yards in the championship game.
Trinity must replace Spencer Blackburn was named MVP of the game after rushing for 110 yards and two TDs on 11 carries while throwing 14 of 16 for 222 yards and four scores.

The Purples will lean on rising sophomore

Ziyon Kenner is a 5-10, 170 wideout who had 673 yards and five TDs receive as a junior in a senior-heavy receiving corps.
J'son Beason, a rising senior, will be stout at middle linebacker, while
Justice Dingle a 6-2, 230 tight end and linebacker bring back his 68 tackles from last season.
