Texas High School Football - Wylie felled by Guyer

In Friday's league game, the Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) football team were victorious over the visiting Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX), by a score of 35-23.

The Wildcats (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Boyd (McKinney, TX). The Broncos come into the 6A Region I District 6 game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Boyd was knocked off by Plano (Plano, TX), 35-14, in a league game.

The Pirates now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host McKinney for a 6A Region I District 6 outing on Friday, October 28. Wylie will encounter a Lions team coming off a 59-7 league loss to Allen (Allen, TX). The Lions record now stands at 4-4.
