Tate Martell, Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas)
The Gaels have never lost a game with Martell under center, as he has posted a 35-0 record in two-and-a-half years on the varsity squad. Despite facing some of the toughest competition in the nation, Martell has thrown 13 touchdown passes and no interceptions this season. He has also thrown for 816 yards (45 of 83) and rushed for 406 yards with six touchdowns.
Kellen Mond, IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.)
A district MVP while playing at Reagan (San Antonio), Mond has been outstanding for IMG Academy in leading the Ascenders to a 5-0 record and the No. 2 ranking in the Xcellent 25 National Football Rankings presented by the Army National Guard. He has thrown for 921 yards and 11 touchdowns with no interceptions. He has also rushed for 369 yards and five touchdowns. His best outing came against Centennial (Corona, Calif.), when he threw for 411 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 101 yards and a score.
J.T. Daniels, Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.)
After throwing for 3,042 yards and 33 touchdowns as a freshman last year, Daniels is on pace to crush those numbers, as he has 1,925 yards and 28 touchdowns through just five games for the Monarchs. Just 17 games into his high school career, Daniels (4,967 yards) is already No. 4 on the all-time passing yardage list at Mater Dei, trailing only Matt Barkley (9,463), Billy Blanton (5,793) and Matt Leinert (5,116).
Shawn Robinson, DeSoto (Texas)
A transfer from Guyer, Robinson has led DeSoto to the No. 1 ranking in Texas and a No. 3 overall ranking in the Xcellent 25. He has thrown for 953 yards and 10 touchdowns with only one interception and he has rushed for 491 yards on just 44 carries with seven scores. He had his best game against Midland when he threw for 275 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 240 yards and three scores.
Myles Brennan, St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, Miss.)
The all-time leader in passing yardage in the state of Mississippi, Brennan has thrown for 12,804 yards in his career, including 1,648 yards in just five games this season. He has thrown 18 touchdown passes and no interceptions and will likely finish his career among the top 10 in all-time passing yardage.
Jake Fromm, Houston County (Warner Robins, Ga.)
Fromm is on pace to become the all-time passing yardage leader in Georgia, assuming Houston County (6-0) makes a deep run in the playoffs. He has 11,383 career passing yards and has thrown for 2,548 yards, 28 touchdowns and just three interceptions this season.
Najee Harris, Antioch (Calif.)
The No. 1 recruit in the nation according to
247Sports, Harris has already verbally committed to Alabama. He has rushed for 1,074 yards in five games with 13 touchdowns, including a high of 261 yards and four touchdowns against Rancho Cotate. He has 6,246 yards and 73 touchdowns in his career.
Cam Akers, Clinton (Miss.)
One of the top running back recruits in the nation, Akers plays quarterback for Clinton (5-0) and has led the team to wins over some of the top teams in Mississippi. He has thrown for 1,162 yards and eight touchdowns and has rushed for 630 yards and 11 scores. He has 6,174 passing yards in his career and 3,628 yards rushing.
Tykevius Chandler, Montgomery Bell Academy (Nashville, Tenn.)
One of the leading scorers in the nation, Chandler has scored 21 touchdowns this year while leading his team to a 5-1 record. He has gained 956 yards on just 96 carries. He has 4,862 yards rushing in his career with 83 total touchdowns. His best outing came against McCallie when he ran for 194 yards and scored five touchdowns in a 42-27 win.
Tee Higgins, Oak Ridge (Tenn.)
Higgins, who has committed to Clemson, is ranked as the No. 4 receiver prospect in the country, according to 247Sports. He has been spectacular in leading Oak Ridge to a 6-0 mark as he has accounted for 13 touchdowns and has provided some spectacular catches for the Wildcats.
