Arizona High School Football - Desert Vista succumbs to Mountain Pointe

The Mountain Pointe Pride thwarted the visiting Desert Vista Thunder football team by a count of 27-13 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Mountain Pointe upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Pride travel to Highland (Gilbert, AZ) to encounter the Hawks in a 6A Central outing on Friday, October 7. The Hawks go into the outing with a record of 2-4. Highland lost 59-49 in their recent non-league outing against Perry (Gilbert, AZ)

With the loss, Desert Vista moves to 2-4 on the season. The Thunder travel to Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ) to encounter the Tigers in a 6A Central outing on Friday, October 7. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 1-5. Gilbert lost 41-7 in their recent league outing against Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ)
