Smyrna (Del.) and Malvern Prep (Pa.) made the most significant moves in the MaxPreps northeast region football computer rankings this week.
Smyrna upped its record to 3-0 and jumped from No. 13 to No. 8 in the rankings. Meanwhile, Malvern Prep moved to 3-1 and went from No. 25 to No. 12.
The top four teams all remained in tact with St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia) idle last week and maintaining its No. 1 ranking.
The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps National Football Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The Northeast region includes teams from Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
