The The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX) football defeated the host George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX), 42-14 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Highlanders face the Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) in a 6A Region II District 12 bout, on Friday, September 30. The Woodlands will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record.
