The DeSoto Eagles walloped the visiting Guyer Wildcats football team by a count of 51-17 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, DeSoto upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Midland (Midland, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Midland won 38-28 in their recent non-league outing against Montwood (El Paso, TX)

With the loss, Guyer moves to 1-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Kimball (Dallas, TX) to confront the Knights in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Kimball lost 9-7 in their recent non-league outing against Carter (Dallas, TX)
