STORYLINES• Even with
Tanner McKee graduated, don't expect Centennial's offense to slow down one bit. Coach Logan runs one of the best systems no matter who is under center. This year will be a little different because there's a quarterback battle between
Carter Freedland, a transfer from Mater Dei (Santa Ana), and
Reggie Retzlaff, a transfer from Claremont. There's a good chance both get reps.
• Logan is one of the best coaches in the country. The power from the Inland Empire has gone 148-23 since 2006 and they have won at least 10 games every season. The Huskies have made the CIF state championship game six times with the lone win coming back in 2008.
• Bryant is a name to keep tabs on this season. One of the most polished wide receivers in the country, expect him to put up
Javon McKinley-type numbers during his final two years of high school.
