The Cedar Hill Longhorns football squad scored 65 points and restricted the host DeSoto Eagles to 42 in the Longhorns league victory on Thursday.

The Longhorns now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mansfield for a 6A Region I District 8 battle on Friday, October 31. Cedar Hill will face a Tigers squad coming off a 35-28 league win over South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.

Coming up next, the Eagles face the Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 battle, on Friday, October 31. DeSoto will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 38-24 league loss to Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX).
