The Lobos won their first state championship last year since winning three in a row from 2008-2010. Rocky Mountain loses MaxPreps All-American Carl Stajduhar, who belted 13 home runs last year and drove in 51 runs, but three of the team's top hitters from last year return.
Cole Anderson, outfield, batted .494 last year with 14 doubles while catcher
Garrett Hammer batted .417 and first baseman
Kyle Reisman batted .380. The Lobos will need to rebuild the pitching staff as Chase Ottofy (1-1) is the only returning pitcher with a decision.

After a one-loss regular season, Fairview lost its first two games of the postseason to ThunderRidge and Regis Jesuit and saw its season come to an end. The Knights have five returning starters, all of whom batted over .400 last year.
Walker Harris (OF) and
Tim Ryan (OF) each hit six home runs last year with Harris batting .413 and Ryan batting .492. Infielder
Johnny Feauto, one of the top quarterbacks in the nation, batted .414 last year while infielder
Ryan Madden batted .509 and infielder
Jacob Thoning batted .456. Madden is also the top returning pitcher with a 9-1 record.

The Rams won the Class 4A state championship last year, battling through the consolation bracket to beat Niwot in two games for the title. Seven of the top nine offensive performers from that team return, led by junior outfielder
Wyatt Featherston, who batted .439 with 12 doubles and eight home runs.
Cole Shetterly, shortstop, also returns after batting .455 with 38 RBIs, 10 doubles and five home runs. The pitching staff returns every win from last year, led by
Josh Ramirez (11-3) and
Talon Schaller (5-0).

The pitching staff should be in good shape for the Raiders, who fell to Rocky Mountain in the Class 5A state championship game. The team's top pitcher from last year,
Brent Schwarz, returns after posting a 7-2 record with a 2.54 ERA.
Bo Weiss, the son of Colorado Rockies manager Walt Weiss, joins the pitching staff after participating in the Area Code Games over the summer.
Quin Cotton, a junior outfielder, leads the offense. He batted .318 with 19 RBIs and two home runs as a sophomore.

While the Grizzlies lose one of the state's top players in Brody Westmoreland to graduation, they still have plenty of talent left on the roster. Outfielder
Aaron Germani batted .333 last year with two home runs while middle infielder
Josh Brown batted .413 with 11 doubles. Junior third baseman
Jake Eissler is also back, bringing a .344 average. He also posted a 7-0 record with a 2.68 ERA on the mound, but he is the only returning pitcher with any wins.
