Virginia High School Football - Centreville beaten by Gonzaga
September 5, 2014: Clifton, VA 20124 Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) followers were thrilled Friday as they witnessed their football squad achieve victory over the host Centreville Wildcats (Clifton, VA), 31-14 in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Georgetown Prep for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. Gonzaga will face a Little Hoyas squad coming off a 27-21 non-league loss to Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Little Hoyas record now stands at 1-1.
Coming up next, the Wildcats face the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 12. Centreville will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 14-7 non-league win over Fairfax (Fairfax, VA).
