The Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) football routed the visiting Cesar Chavez Champions (Laveen, AZ), 48-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Pride face the Maryvale Panthers (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 12. Mountain Pointe will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 72-0 non-league loss to Westwood (Mesa, AZ).

The Champions (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Basha (Chandler, AZ). The Bears go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Basha bounced Centennial (Peoria, AZ), 31-21, in a non-league battle.
