A'Shawn Robinson is some imposing figure. Imagine what opposing basketball players must of thought while he was driving down the lane at
Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, Texas).
Besides being a five-star recruit for the Yellowjackets in football, Robinson also stood out on the basketball court and in track and field circles - in shot put and discus.
Needless to say, any football player that large with that kind of athleticism is a prospect.
Robinson was the 33rd top recruit overall from his Class of 2013 and No. 2 offensive tackle in the country. He received college offers from everyone, but his finalists were Texas, USC, LSU, Arkansas State, Florida State and Alabama. He picked the Crimson Tide after originally verbally committing to Texas.
