It has been 10 years now that MaxPreps has put out football computer rankings, presented by the Army National Guard.
That's plenty of time to come up with a solid list of which programs have been the most dominant during the MaxPreps era.
For the purpose of the rankings, each team will be awarded points based off where it finished in the computer rankings after each season. For example, if a team finished No. 1 overall it receives 25 points. If the team finished No. 25 overall, it would get one point. A team also receives 30 points for winning a state title and 15 for being the runner-up.

1. Hartford (White River Junction) - 378 points
Overall record: 73-28-1
Hartford has won five Division 1 state titles and racked up nine Top 10 finishes, making it Vermont's most dominant team.
2. South Burlington - 301
Overall record: 71-33
The Rebels have recorded two state title victories and 10 Top 25 finishes.
3. Middlebury - 298
Overall record: 76-27
Middlebury has finished in the Top 10 nine times, capturing one state title in the process.
4. Rutland - 288
Overall record: 61-37
Rutland has claimed the No. 1 ranking twice, winning state titles in both seasons.
5. Rice Memorial (South Burlington) - 285
Overall record: 66-32
Since 2004, the Green Knights have won four state championships and notched 10 Top 25 finishes.
6. Woodstock - 279
Overall record: 69-31
The Wasps have have won five state titles and recorded five Top 10 finishes over the past 10 years.
7. Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans) - 213
Overall record: 67-33
The Bobwhites have not fallen outside the Top 15 over the past 10 seasons, claiming two runner-up finishes in the process.
8. Essex (Essex Junction) - 205
Overall record: 55-39
A perfect season in 2009 gave the Hornets a No. 1 ranking and their lone state title since 2004.
9. Colchester - 186
Overall record: 58-36
Colchester reached the No. 2 ranking in 2009 after finishing the season with a state title victory and no losses on its record.
10. Bellows Falls - 168
Overall record: 52-45
The Terriers own one state title victory and eight Top 25 finishes.
11. Windsor - 159
Overall record: 57-43
Windsor has played in five state championship games since 2004, winning one and finishing as the runner-up four times.
12. Mt. Mansfield (Jericho) - 145
Overall record: 50-46
The Cougars have not missed the Top 25 rankings over the past 10 seasons, reaching the No. 5 rank in 2009.
13. Burlington - 135
Overall record: 31-59
Burlington has recorded one state title victory and 10 Top 25 finishes.
14. Brattleboro - 128
Overall record: 41-50
The Colonels have finished in the Top 25 nine times, including a No. 2 ranking in 2005.
15. Spaulding (Barre) - 127
Overall record: 33-60
Spaulding won back-to-back Division 2 state titles in 2007-08, finishing with the No. 3 rank in each season.
16. Fair Haven - 115
Overall record: 43-50
Fair Haven has claimed 10 Top 25 finishes and one state title since 2004.
17. Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg) - 113
Overall record: 47-40
The Red Hawks have finished in the Top 15 in each season since 2009.
18. Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Rutland) - 101
Overall record: 21-70
The Green Wave notched their best season in the past 10 years in 2005 after winning a state title and finishing with the No. 1 ranking.
19. Mount Anthony (Bennington) - 99
Overall record: 28-60
Mount Anthony has not fallen outside the Top 25 in each of the past 10 seasons.
TIE 20. Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center) - 97
Overall record: 36-56
The Vikings have totaled 10 Top 25 finishes, including the No. 6 ranking in 2013.
TIE 20. St. Johnsbury Academy - 97Overall record: 35-57
The Hilltoppers lay claim to 10 Top 25 finishes since 2004.
