The Bullets defeated Poultney 15-1 to capture the Division III state championship and finish the season undefeated. Bellows Free Academy has a 19-game winning streak entering the 2015 season. The Bullets have one of the state's top returning players in
Alex Chapman, who was named the state player of the year by American Family Insurance. He went 8-0 with 89 strikeouts last season.

2. Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg)
2014 finish: 16-4
Head coach: Tim Albertson
The Red Hawks reached the semifinals of the Division I playoffs last year, losing to Rice Memorial 2-1. Champlain Valley returns the Gatorade State Player of the Year in
Ryan Supple, a shortstop who is committed to Wake Forest and bated .383 last season.

3. Rice Memorial (South Burlington)
2014 finish: 16-4
Head coach: Lloyd Bachand
Rice Memorial knocked off Champlain Valley Union in the Division I state semifinals last year before falling to South Burlington in the championship game. The Green Knights had a young squad in 2014 with junior first baseman
Will Hesslink earning all-state honors as a sophomore. He batted .411 and also had an 8-0 pitching record.

4. Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans)
2014 finish: 17-3
Head coach: Geoff Murray
The top seed for the Division I state playoffs, the Bobwhite fell to South Burlington in the semifinals. Bellows Free Academy will miss pitcher Ryan Connor, who was named the player of the year in the Metro Conference in 2014. The Bobwhite should be solid again as they lost just five seniors from last year's squad.

5. South Burlington
2014 finish: 15-6
Head coach: Pat Bose
The defending state champions in the Division I playoffs were mostly a senior crew in 2014, but they do return a crucial piece from last year's championship team.
Connor Bradley, who shined on the mound in last year's state semifinal game against Bellows Free Academy, returns for his senior season after earning all-state second team honors as a junior.
