Nancy Mulkey. Not by accident, the same could be said of her team, which won a state 6A championship on Saturday with a
57-49 win over Skyline at the Alamodome.

MaxPreps Xcellent 25.
Mulkey, the No. 21 ranked player nationally in her class according to ESPN, played a more pivotal role in the team's semifinal game, a 79-60 victory over Wagner, when she had 21 points on 9-of-12 shooting with 13 rebounds and four blocks.
The Oklahoma commit averaged 10.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per game this season for the 35-1 Wildcats. As a sophomore her averages were 7.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.8 blocks and as a freshman 9.6, 7.8 and 4.6.
The Wildcats were 26-11 in her freshman year and 32-6 in her sophomore year.
In Saturday's win,
Erica Ogwumike, the youngest sister of WNBA players Nneka and Chiney, had 26 points, eight rebounds and five steals. She was named the championship game's MVP.
