Maryland High School Football - Gilman overwhelms Archbishop Spalding
October 16, 2015: Baltimore, MD 21210 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Gilman Greyhounds (Baltimore, MD) and the visiting Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD), observed Gilman's football squad bounce Archbishop Spalding by a count of 48-7.
The Greyhounds now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Friendship Collegiate Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, October 23. Gilman will confront a Knights team coming off a 55-22 non-league loss to Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Archbishop Spalding moves to 6-2 on the season. The Cavaliers host McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD) to confront the Eagles in a MIAA A outing on Friday, October 23. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 4-2. McDonogh won 21-0 in their recent league outing against Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD)
