In Friday's non-league game, the Skyline Raiders (Dallas, TX) football team were victorious over the visiting Cedar Hill Longhorns (Cedar Hill, TX), by a score of 40-30.

The Raiders (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Irving (Irving, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region II District 9 game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Irving was knocked off by Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX), 37-13, in a non-league game.

The Longhorns now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coppell for a non-league game on Friday, September 19. Cedar Hill will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 42-2 non-league win over Eastern Christian Academy (Elkton, MD). The Cowboys record now stands at 3-1.
