The Vikings lost in the Class 5A state championship last year to Jordan, but they return five of the top offensive performers from last year and, perhaps, the state's top player in
Easton Walker. As a junior, Walker batted .424 with three home runs and also posted a 9-0 record on the mound. Other players expected to contribute this year include
Ben Eldredge (.333),
Payton Henry (.414),
Chase Merrell (.365) and
Zach Peterson (.316).

Head coach: Joel Sato
After finishing fourth in the state Class 5A tournament last year, Bingham could move up this year thanks to six returning starters. The infield is particularly solid with
Kade Cloward (.383) back at shortstop,
Connor Goff (.333) at second base,
Sean Keating (.431, 6-1) at first base and
Tyler Zupon (.381) at catcher. The outfield also returns two key players in
Landon Walbeck (.307) and
Aaron Marsh (.346). Keating is also the team's top prospect as a left-handed pitcher.

Head coach: Chad Fife
Jordan loses the bulk of last year's state championship team, including one of the state's top players in Colton Shaver, who belted 12 home runs last year. Only one player returns with much experience and that's junior
Andrew Lisk, who batted .359 as a sophomore last year and also saw some time on the mound.
Cody Davis is the only other player with over 30 at-bats from last year and he batted .310.

Head coach: Casey Nelson
After coaching for 34 years, James "Shoe" Nelson stepped down as the head coach at Spanish Fork. His replacement wasn't hard to locate as Nelson's son Casey will take the helm. He inherits a team that reached the Class 4A state championship game last year, but few of those players return.
Nic Roberts (.394) and
Jason Money (.314) are the top returning bats off last year's squad.

The Knights return three of the team's top offensive performers from last year and seven pitchers that had at least one decision last year. Topping the list is outfielder
Chandler Goeckeritz, who batted .416 with 10 doubles and three home runs last year.
Tate Hansen, an infielder, is back after batting .384 last year while junior
Tyler Thompson, an outfielder, returns after batting .384.
